The Jeep That You Should Buy

The Jeep car brand has managed to appeal to various audience types using several trends that cause consumers to buy today. This particular commercial shows the same Jeep Grand Cherokee but in two very different lifestyles. One the left side there is a person from your average everyday household. While on the right this person is very active, and ambitious. The person on the right is someone who likes to go hiking, and snowboarding. This is the "active, busy lifestyle" trend. This is appealing to the consumer that likes adventure and needs a car that can keep up with all the different adventures that someone may need to go on. That type of consumer does not have the time to chance their car not working, or getting stuck in the snow. The consumer only has time for the experience and adventure. This commercial also does a very good job of appealing to the adult consumers between the ages of 25-35. At this age range, the consumer is still young enough to enjoy all of the activities that this car enables them to do. The biggest comparison that happens in the commercial is between the different people that drive this car. This appeals to the "diverse lifestyle" trend. In the commercial you see a vegetarian, and animal lover, an avid hunter, a democrat, a republican, a non vegetarian, a black person, and a white person. It does not matter who you are or whether or not you have a super active lifestyle this car is for you. The whole commercial stands for being free and being whoever you choose to be. I truly believe that this is an effective commercial, because there were at least three different themes displayed that went so well together. Jeep was able to pull me in and want a Grand Cherokee, and I am not the biggest fan of the way some Jeep models look. I think that Jeep continues to come a long way, and are appealing to so many different types of people. This commercial is trying to bring people together no matter their differences in life. I say a job well done for Jeep!
